46G Padded Blouson - Charcoal

A zip-up blouson crafted from an original high-gauge jacquard knit developed on KANEMASA PHIL.’s proprietary 46G machine. The fabric uses 120-count, two-ply recycled Suvin cotton yarns to reproduce the dense structure of woven typewriter cloth in knitted form. Gas singeing at the yarn stage reduces surface fuzz and enhances luster, while repeated resin treatments give the fabric a woven-like hand and water-repellent properties. These treatments also help resist soiling around the collar. The addition of 50-denier high-crimp recycled nylon provides stretch and helps reduce creasing and deformation, making the fabric easier to care for. The lightweight, high-density knit is carefully sewn at a specialized Japanese outerwear factory. The blouson is insulated with a moderate thickness of lightweight padding designed to help regulate warmth. Based on a track jacket, the design features a raised collar, a double zipper engraved with the brand logo, and a concealed button placket. Curved sleeves define the silhouette, while cotton ribbed inner cuffs help block drafts and retain warmth. The water-repellent fabric provides protection against light rain.
