Blanc YM

Founded in 2015 by Yutaro Miyauchi, Blanc YM explores a quiet approach to form through the language of detail. Each garment begins as a stripped-back structure, revealing a minimal framework where subtle shifts in construction and proportion carry meaning. By selecting materials after the garment has taken form, fabric and structure align naturally, giving each piece a restrained yet deliberate presence. Miyauchi personally oversees the selection of textiles and production partners, approaching natural fibers such as cashmere, silk, and cotton alongside synthetics like nylon and polyester with equal consideration. Combining and recontextualizing these materials forms garments that are shaped by what the designer seeks to wear in daily life. Clothing rooted in personal use, existing somewhere between familiarity and quiet deviation.
