46G Artisan Shirt - Charcoal Dyed

A relaxed-fit casual shirt crafted from an original 46G jersey made with 80/1 recycled Suvin cotton yarns. A salt-shrink treatment contracts the fabric and creates an irregular, textured surface. The material is then garment-dyed and treated with a specialized softening dye process to bring out its natural drape and sheerness. Each garment is air-dried individually to preserve the texture of the fabric. The high-gauge knit provides stretch and a lightweight feel, while the construction requires careful handling during sewing. Made at a skilled Japanese sewing factory, the shirt combines dress-shirt construction with raw-cut hems, cuffs, and pocket edges. Gathers at the yoke and cuffs introduce a more casual approach to the traditional shirt structure. The wide, boxy silhouette has a body that is wider than its length, creating a natural drape when worn. Finished with original shell buttons engraved with the brand logo on the reverse. The material, sewing, and dyeing processes are central to the garment’s construction.
