emory - Gold

Named after Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia—located near major international research institutions in medicine and public health. Emory was designed with the image of a meticulous epidemiology graduate student in mind. It features a single-bridge construction integrated into the upper rim of the front frame for a subtle, composed silhouette. The frame is crafted from a combination of titanium and flexible β-titanium, offering both durability and lightness. Clear acetate temples reveal a visible accordion-style metal core, designed to reduce stress from natural acetate shrinkage over time. Each part is meticulously finished by hand by artisans in Sabae, Japan. Nose pads feature BuddyOptical’s original logo-stamped metal cores. The lenses are fitted with the brand’s 60/40 lens—offering 60% visible light transmittance and 40% density. The lens color is a custom specification selected specifically for our store.
