A relaxed-fit shirt jacket made using a luxuriously soft cashmere weave. Rather than using tightly-spun yarns made for weaving, Batoner explored the use of gently spun knitwear yarns in a woven fabric. After weaving, the material underwent a washing process called shukuju, which simultaneously shrinks and softens the weave. The final result is a woven fabric that feels like knitwear with a lofty and inviting hand. Inspired by vintage denim jackets, the G Type Shirt features a pleated front, side adjusters at the waist, and a lined yoke.
