A relaxed-fitting drawstring pant made using awasa’s signature wool gabardine. Woven in Aichi, an area known for its woollen textiles, the fabric features extra threads in the warp, which offer a firm touch and increased shape retention over time. The pants’ deep colour comes from dyeing the fibre before it is spun into yarn, a process that also gives the fabric a subtly variegated surface. The silhouette is a heavily modified military overpant, removing flaps and pockets for a more modern look with a neat, relaxed drape. Detailed with a drawstring waist, front slant pockets, and rear patch pockets.
