Vintage Wool Amundsen Wide Easy Shorts - Stripe

Relaxed-fitting shorts with an elastic drawstring waistband, cut from a deadstock Amundsen fabric from the 80s. Amundsen fabrics feature a complex combination of twill weaves that result in a fine, grainy appearance, not unlike the textured surface of a melon. The weave breaks up the yarn-dyed striping, blurring it slightly while retaining its vertical pattern. The shorts are finished with a pleated front and an elasticated waistband, blending casual and dress while emphasizing the Amundsen fabric’s smoothness and drape.
