description
A relaxed fitting shirt jacket cut from a deadstock Amundsen fabric woven in the 80s. Amundsen fabrics feature a complex combination of twill weaves that result in a fine, grainy appearance, not unlike the textured surface of a melon. The weave breaks up the yarn-dyed striping, blurring it slightly while retaining its vertical pattern. Blending classic chore coats with military shirting, the piece reads like a jacket but can be worn comfortably as a shirt given the fabric’s lightweight drape. Finished with four front pockets, and a buttoned placket, and open sleeve cuffs.
