Upon analyzing vintage denim from the 1950s, awasa custom developed this fabric, weaving 100% American cotton yarns on shuttle looms in Okayama. The resulting 11oz selvedge fabric has a gentle texture and a weight that is well-suited to warmer temperatures. Finished at a world-renowned denim processing factory in Shizuoka, the jeans showcase a casual time-worn look with puckered seams, subtle whiskering, and light honeycombing. Detailed with a chainstitch hem, contrast stitching, and “removed” leather patch fade.
