Fancy Tweed Belted Jacket - Herringbone

awasa’s Belted Jacket is an elegant take on vintage military jungle fatigues. Cut in a relaxed fit, the jacket deviates from its militaria inspiration with a reduced number of pockets (2 at the waist) and a cinch belt reminiscent of more refined overcoats. Its wool-blended fabric comes from Aichi, a prefecture in Japan renowned for its wool production. This particular weaving factory specializes in decorative “fancy” tweed, which awasa dialed down to a more subtly textured grey herringbone stippled with dulled gold and silver speckles. Finished with restrained details like a concealed placket, interior pockets, and an optional chin strap.
